Emily VanCamp

Emily Irene VanCamp has been a Canadian actress for several years. Her name is well-known due to her roles in the film industry and on television. Her work is well-known on both Canadian and American Television. Emily's passion for acting started at the age of 12 when, she went to visit their sister Katie who was making a film with Katie. Once she discovered her passion for acting she started taking acting classes, and then going for auditions. Initially she bagged a few commercials, and then was selected for the Canadian children's television show Are You Scared of the Dark? In one scene, she was seen without saying a word. At the age of fifteen, Emily made her biggest breakthrough after she was made an official character on the WB TV show Glory Days. Although the show was canceled after only nine episodes, her performance attracted the attention of Dawson's Creek writer Greg Berlanti who enlisted her on his television show Everwood. Emily is also a dancer as well as a photographer. She was named one of the top 20 teens' actors. The Maxim's Hot 100 2014 list ranked her at number 51.
