Katherine Heigl admits that she grew up in a white bubble, and how this experience impacted the way she raised adopted multiracial kids. She revealed in an interview recently that, with regards to skin colour, it doesn't really matter. But after speaking to her adopted sister from South Korea she realized just the way society views the children. Meg was asked whether she was treated differently when they were out together with their parents, and the time they were on their own. Meg said, 'Oh yes, I've seen the whole thing I've seen it all! Heigl addressed Parents about the moment she realised her naivet . Heigl said she got frustrated and thought it was important to focus her anger towards helping her adopted daughters. Heigl is engaged to Josh Kelley for 13 years they have a son Joshua Bishop Kelley Jr. The couple took in Nancy Leigh (age 12) from South Korea and Adalaide (age 8) with a black complexion, in 2009.
