Katherine Heigl recently spoke out about growing up within "a White bubble." The actress also discusses how that realization has affected the way she raises adopted children who are multi-racial. In the latest episodes of "Firefly Lane", "Grey's Anatomy" as well as "Grey's Anatomy" actor Katherine Heigl revealed that she did not care about the color of her skin until she came across her adopted sister from South Korea. "I wanted to know Meg what she thought about being different when she went out with us parents than when she went out by herself. She answered, "Oh yeah, always!" Heigl admitted to her parents that this made her realize how naive she had been. Heigl admitted she became upset and believed it was crucial to put her anger on helping the adopted children she has. Heigl has a son who is four years with Josh Kelley, her husband for 13 years. They have took in Nancy Leigh (age 12) from South Korea and Adalaide (age 8) and is black in 2009.
