Katherine Heigl has opened her mind about being raised in a "white bubble" and how that realization has affected how she parents her adopted multiracial children. The "Firefly Lane" as well as "Grey's Anatomy" star shared in a recent interview in regards to the color of her skin, it didn't matter to her how she looked like when she was younger, but once she talked to her older sister, whom she taken in from South Korea, she realized how different society treated the two of them. "I I asked my sister Meg, if she had received the same treatment while walking around with our parents and in a different manner when she went out alone without them. Meg replied "Oh Yes! All the times!" Heigl said to her parents: "That was when I discovered how naive I made me feel." She confessed that she was frustrated, but she felt it was necessary to use her anger to assist her children. Heigl has a four-year old son who is married to her 13 year old wife, Josh Kelley. They have took in Nancy Leigh (age 12) from South Korea and Adalaide (age 8) with a black complexion in 2009.
