Katherine Heigl reveals that she grew up in a white bubble, and how this experience impacted the way she raised her adopted multiracial children. In an interview with the "Firefly Lane" actress, along with "Grey's Anatomy", actress revealed her looks didn't bother her. But after having a conversation with her adoptive sister from South Korea about how society had treated them, she was conscious of the differences they were. Meg was asked if her treatment was different when they were out together with their parents and then when they went alone. She replied "Oh I do, each and every time!" This made me realize I had been so naive," Heigl said to parents. The actor said she became angry but felt she needed to channel her anger to aid her adopted daughters. Heigl has a four year old son and a 13-year-old husband, Josh Kelley. The couple adopted their daughters Nancy Leigh, 12, from South Korea in 2009 and Adalaide eight who is Black, in 2012.
