Katherine Heigl, the actress of "Grey's Anatomy," has her mind about being raised in an environment that was a "white bubble" and how this realization has affected how she parents her adopted multiracial children. She was in the movie "Firefly Lane" spoke to a reporter that it didn't matter how dark her skin color was for her. But after having a conversation with her Korean-American adopted older sister, she realised the distinction between how others treated her and her. "I asked my sister, Meg whether she'd been treated in one manner when she was walking around with our parents, and another way when she went out by herself without them. She replied "Oh, yes, every moment!" Heigl said to her parents: "That was when I discovered how naive I made me feel." Heigl said she got frustrated and thought she needed to channel the anger she felt on the adopted children she has. Heigl along with her long-time husband -- the musician Josh Kelley -- have an infant son, aged 4 years old. Joshua Bishop Kelley, Jr. Their daughter was adopted by them Nancy Leigh, 12, from South Korea in 2009 and Adalaide 8 years old and Black, in 2012.
