Katherine Heigl has opened up about growing up within "a the white bubble." She also shares how this experience has affected her parenting of adopted children who are multi-racial. In a recent "Firefly Lane", "Grey's Anatomy" as well as "Grey's Anatomy" actress Katherine Heigl admitted she was not concerned about her skin tone, until she got to know her adoptive sister from South Korea. "I wanted to know Meg how she was treated differently when she went out with us parents than those who went out on her own. She said: 'Oh yes, I've seen everything!' Heigl told Parents, "That made me realise that I was so naive." According to the actor, she was angered. However, she wanted to channel this energy into helping her adopted girls. The couple, who are married to Josh Kelley and their son Joshua Bishop Kelley Jr. 4 have been married for 13 years. They adopted their daughter Nancy Leigh, 12, from South Korea in 2009 and Adalaide 8 years old who is Black from South Korea in 2012.
