Katherine Heigl discusses the ways that growing up living in a white bubble changed the way she raised her multiracial family. In an interview with her, Katherine Heigl said recent interview that, with regards to skin colour, it doesn't really matter. However, after talking to her sister, who was adopted in South Korea she realized just how differently society treats them. In my interview, I asked Meg how she was treated when in public, regardless of whether we were with our parents, it was completely different. She said, 'Oh, yes, every time!' Heigl said to Parents, "That made me realise how foolish I was." The singer became angry at the time, and chose to channel her anger into help her adopted daughters. Heigl is the mother of a 4-year-old son and a 13-year-old spouse, Josh Kelley. They have adopted Nancy Leigh (age 12) from South Korea and Adalaide (age 8) and is black in 2009.
