Katherine Heigl speaks to the world about her "white bubble childhood" and how it has influenced how she raises the children of her adoptive parents who are multiracial. The actress from "Firefly Lane" spoke to a reporter that it didn't matter how dark her skin color was to her. However, after meeting her Korean-American adopted older sister she realized the difference in how people took care of her. In my interview, I asked Meg what she thought of her treatment when in public, in the presence of or without parents, it was different. She replied, "Oh yeah, always!" Heigl told Parents, "That made me realise that I was so naive." Her anger grew at the time, and chose to use that anger to support her two adopted daughters. Heigl has a son who is four year with Josh Kelley, her husband for 13 years. The couple adopted their daughters Nancy Leigh, 12, from South Korea in 2009 and Adalaide eight and Black from South Korea in 2012.
