Katherine Heigl recently spoke out about being raised living in "a White bubble." The actress also discusses the impact that this realization has had on the way she raises adopted children that are multiracial. In the latest episodes of "Firefly Lane", "Grey's Anatomy", and "Grey's Anatomy" actor Katherine Heigl revealed that she did not care about her complexion until she met her adopted sister from South Korea. "I inquired of my sister, Meg whether she'd received the same treatment while going out with us parents and a different way when she was out on her own without anyone else. She replied: 'Oh sure, I was treated the same way all the all the time! Heigl told parents: "That was when I discovered how naive I made me feel." Heigl said she got upset and believed it was crucial to put her anger on helping her adopted daughters. Heigl and her 13-year-old husband -- the singer Josh Kelley -- have a 4-year-old son together, Joshua Bishop Kelley, Jr. They adopted Nancy Leigh from South Korea aged 12 years old in 2009. then Adalaide aged 8 who is now young and Black in 2012.
