Katherine Heigl recently spoke out about being raised living in "a white bubble." The actress also discusses how this experience has affected her parenting of adopted children who are multi-racial. In the latest episodes of "Firefly Lane", "Grey's Anatomy", and "Grey's Anatomy", star Katherine Heigl revealed that she didn't care about her skin tone, until she came across her adopted sister from South Korea. I inquired of Meg whether, while going out with her parents she was treated with a specific manner while out on her own she got a completely different kind of treatment. She replied "Oh I do, each and every occasion!" Heigl admitted to parents, "That made me realise how foolish I was." Heigl admitted she became frustrated and thought she needed to channel her anger towards helping her adopted daughters. Heigl has a son of four years and Josh Kelley, her husband for 13 years. They adopted Nancy Leigh from South Korea aged 12 in 2009, followed by Adalaide who was 8 years older and was Black in 2012.
