Anna Leigh Ashford
Annaleigh Amanda Ashford was born in America. She is an actor, singer and dancer. Her early appearances on Broadway include the productions Wicked Legally Blonde and Hair. In You Can't Take It With You, she won the Tony Award as Best Featured actress in an Play. Annaleigh Ashford Tony Award winner actor has worked with many acclaimed actors and directors in stage films and television. She continues this award-winning career through her forthcoming projects. Ashford will be next seen alongside Kumail Nannjiani as part of Robert Siegel's Hulu Limited series Welcome to Chippendales premiering November 22. Ashford is currently engaged in the production of Searchlight Pictures' horror film Dust with Sarah Paulson alongside Ebon and Moss Bachrach. The film is scheduled to air on Disney DTC as a Hulu Original. In March of 2023 Ashford returns to Broadway and star opposite Josh Groban in the revival of Stephen Sondheim's Sweeney Todd at the Lunt-Fontanne Theatre. Thomas Kail as director and Jeffrey Seller as producer will be the creative team for the musical. Ashford has most recently played Paula Jones in the new Ryan Murphy FX series American Crime Story Impeachment which is based on the nation's crisis, which swept up Paula Jones Monica Lewinsky and Linda Tripp as principal characters for the first impeachment proceedings in over a century. She starred in two seasons of popular CBS comedy B Positive. It was developed by Marco Pennette, Chuck Lorre and Linda Lavin. Also, it included Ben Vereen as well as Hector Elizondo. Sunday in the Park starring George Wicked and Legally Blonde is among her other Broadway performances. Her birthplace and childhood was in Denver Ashford currently splits her time between Los Angeles and New York.
