We're much far more complicated than we believe we're. Lockhart says in a video interview with Lockhart via video "I am not convinced that my physical appearance is what defines me. My goal is not to influence disability, because I've plenty to offer." However, it doesn't affect my daily life. I continue to do the normal things and I've adapted to the limitations of my disability. This is a major element of my life and it's imperative to talk about the subject. Lockhart is a great example of how to stay going with self-acceptance. However, she admits having moments that made her feel uncomfortable about her appearance and wearing clothing with arms. She now wears whatever she'd like. She also posts her photos on social media. The key to self-love for her is that it's not an end destination. This is, however, the case with anyone that is prone to doubts. It's important to have people around you who are aware of and can relate to you. They'll be the ones to ask you: What do you fret about?
