Cheney explained that his responsibility as an adviser to Bush's administration is to be an honest and discreet adviser. When he accepted the Republican vice-presidential nod Cheney declared that he's looking at serving alongside the president who works to accomplish his objectives by working across partisan lines and collaborating with his political foes with good will and a common goal. Richard Bruce Cheney is the son Richard Herbert Cheney of the late Marjorie Lauraine Dickey. He was born on the 30th of January 1941, within Lincoln Nebraska. When he turned 13 old, he moved and his entire family moved in Casper in the western state of Wyoming in Wyoming, where his father was the director of the local district of soil conservation of the U.S. Department of Agriculture.
