Richard Bruce Cheney is the father of Richard Herbert Cheney of the late Marjorie Lauraine Dickey. He was born on the 30th of January 1941 at Lincoln Nebraska. When he was 13 years old, Bruce and his family moved from Nebraska to Casper (in the US state of Wyoming) where his father served as director of the U.S. Department of Agriculture's soil conservation district.
