Richard B. Cheney a prominent politician and businessman, is the vice president of the United States. In accepting the Republican vice-presidential nomination Cheney said that he is looking forward to working with an president who can work to get things done by crossing the political aisle and collaborating with his political foes on a good basis and with a shared goal. Richard Bruce Cheney was born in Lincoln Nebraska on January 30 1941. He was the son Richard Herbert Cheney and the former Marjorie Lauraine Dickey. He moved from Casper, Wyoming with his family when he was 13. His dad, who was employed by the U.S. Department of Agriculture was the director of the conservation district in Casper.
