Richard Bruce Cheney was born in Lincoln Nebraska on January 30 1941. He was the son of Richard Herbert Cheney and the former Marjorie Lauraine Dickey. He relocated in Casper, Wyoming with his family in the year 13 when he turned thirteen. His dad, who was employed by the U.S. Department of Agriculture and directed the soil conservation district in Casper.
