Melina Kanakaredes

Melina Kanakaredes (born May 25 in 1970) is an American actress who is best recognized for her role as the role of detective Stella Bonasera on CBS's police procedural drama CSI: NY, Dr. Sydney Hansen and Lane Hunter and Dr. Sydney Hansen on NBC's Providence drama, and the medicine drama The Resident. Her breakthrough role as Eleni andros Cooper in the CBS soap show Guiding Light was also praised. 15 Minutes Percy Jackson and The Olympians The Lightning Thief and Snitch are among her most notable films parts. The Wheel of Life, written by Elisabeth Kubler Ross and adapted into a film with Vlas Parlapanides (the pair who created the Immortals) is believed to be in production. She's also filming a new television series titled Gods & Heroes.
